Telekinesis

Telekinesis is the super power in which you can move objects with your eyes, and is the power that I most desire. I would enjoy using this power for not only those "lazy days" but also for more usefull things such as being able to do two things at once, or multi-tasking. For example I could be at work as a chashier scanning the products through the till, and at the same time be bagging the items and be done much faster. I would be a much more productive employee and would even make it easier for myself to get a raise! In other aspects I could use my power to help people from a disance if they seemed at all in any danger. For example, if I happened to see a person on a ladder and seen the ladder slightly start to slip, I could use my Telekinesis to move the ladder back in its proper position and hold it untill the person was safley on the ground. Therefore if I happened to be in the right place at the right time I could potentially save people from injuring themself's or even near death experiences, when in fact they were the one who was in the wrong place, at the wrong time. As for the more simple things, it would make something as "painfull" to do in the morning as making your morning coffee. You could be getting ready to jump into the shower, but then realize that it would be a privalage to have your coffee ready by the time your out of the shower. Something as minor as your morning coffee could no longer be an issue. Telekinesis would be very usefull for something as easy as making dinner. Imagine your water is boiling on the stove and your ingredients need to be added right away, otherwise your dinner will not be all ready at the same time, but on the otherhand your busy chopping vegtables dont have a spare hand to do it yourself. Thats where Telekinesis comes in handy. You could continue chopping your vegtables and add your ingrediants to the water at the same time. Plus, you wouldnt have the inconvience of burning your skin on the hot water that normally splashes onto you when placing your food into the boiling water. It's mostly the little things in life that this super power is used for, but who doesnt appreciate the small things?

Interpretive Fiction. Vs. Escapist Ficiton.

I think an English class would benifit from reading an Interpretive Fiction novel because it makes a person think more in depth and with foreshadowing to keep a person continue reading. When a book becomes so intense to make you keep reading, it will benifit a class because the teacher doesnt have to worry if a student has stopped reading the novel. When a student would rather keep reading, instead of not being interested in their book at all, it also helps them to understand what is going on. If a person doesnt enjoy a novel, often it is hard to keep track of what is going on, and they mostly skim throughout the chapters in the book. Personally I prefer a novel that keeps me interested and keeps me guessing than a book that is just one plot and theme throughout the book.

Evil or Misunderstood?

I think that Frankenstein is the most misunderstood, because he is not evil, and cannot even compare to other villans and monsters. He is more so intimidating, than he is evil. Frankenstein is extremely large, slow, and has speaks quite slowly, so people do not exactly understand what hes trying to say or do, which is the number one reason he is misunderstood. Frankenstein is a gentle, caring and loving creature that would only harm another, is he was in some sort of danger.

Guilty Pleasures.

Your assignment:  Everyone has guilty pleasures -- things they enjoy doing or watching that they feel a little embarrassed or bashful about.  For some it's a television show like Survivor or Glee.  For others it's a particular song or an activity like karaoke.  Write about your own guilty pleasure explaining the conflict you feel.  Try to convey the feeling you get from the activity in a way that will make others experience it.  One last note:  Keep this one appropriate folks.

A guilty pleasure that I have would be smoking cigarettes because although it is a bad habbit, and a hard one to quit at that, I also have the feeling of wanting to quit. Some of it comes from not wanting certain family to find out, and also not being able to quit when I want.

You have the ability to transport yourself to any historical event and take part. Describe that event, the role you played in it, and how it impacted history.  Your involvement may either change our history or explain why our world is the way it is today.

March of 1876 was when I had first come up with the idea to transport speach through a handheld, it was a long shot but i had to try. I had a accomplice to help me but it was only for the extra ideas of  how to accompllish this task. It took quite a few years, but after it was all said and done I was somewhat proud of myself. People now had the choice to telephone eachother at any time, instead of having to walk or send letters in the mail. back and forth. It has impacted the world in both good ways, and bad ways. Since the telephone was invented, people have started buisneses that try to lure people into winning vacations and trips, as well as "prank" calls and invasions of privacy. On the other hand, the telephone has been a great contribution to elderly people, and people in need of help, in an emergency.
